In respect to fellow Muslim visitors, we humbly request you to wear modest, loose-Fitting, and most appropriate clothes.
For men, it is better to wear long pants, and for women to wear full-length skirts / pants / dresses, with long sleeves. Women are encouraged to wear a headscarf (only) in the main prayer hall of Masjid Istiqlal. A headscarf for non-hijab women will be provided at the venue.
Your shoes will be removed before entering (only) the main prayer hall of Masjid Istiqlal. Removing your shoes before you enter is an act of respect toward the believers of Muslim.
There will be a rack placed by the entrance of the mosque where you are expected to leave your shoes before entering, and we will provide shoe storage for you to keep it by yourself during Akad.
Traffic regulations:
Sorry to inform you that there will be Road Space Rationing (Ganjil-Genap) in access to Masjid Istiqlal from 06.00 AM to 10.00 AM. Hence, we recommend you to only use permitted vehicles.
